Franklin Evans at “Greater New York” the quintennial exhibition organized by P.S. 1 and MoMA.

The Museum of Modern Art and P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center have announced specifics for the third iteration of “Greater New York,” the quintennial exhibition organized by P.S. 1 and MoMA. This edition, which showcases sixty-eight artists and collectives living and working in the metropolitan New York area, will open at P.S. 1 on May 23 and run through October 18, 2010. “Greater New York” is organized by Klaus Biesenbach, director of P.S. 1 and chief-curator-at-large at MoMA; Connie Butler, chief curator of drawings at MoMA; and Neville Wakefield, P.S. 1’s senior curatorial advisor.

MP&MP Rosado en el matadero

MP&MP Rosado en el matadero Cuarto-Gabinete sigue las huellas y el rastro. Es un espacio donde la parte que falta se transforma en una colección de ruinas y fragmentos que nos ayuda a construir el yo. La geometría, el viaje interior, lo traumático, lo abyecto, lo informe, lo inmaduro, lo siniestro... Una casa en espiral cubierta por dentro con esmalte. Una gruta en forma de concha enroscada.
