Franklin Evans at “Greater New York” the quintennial exhibition organized by P.S. 1 and MoMA.
The Museum of Modern Art and P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center have announced specifics for the third iteration of “Greater New York,” the quintennial exhibition organized by P.S. 1 and MoMA. This edition, which showcases sixty-eight artists and collectives living and working in the metropolitan New York area, will open at P.S. 1 on May 23 and run through October 18, 2010. “Greater New York” is organized by Klaus Biesenbach, director of P.S. 1 and chief-curator-at-large at MoMA; Connie Butler, chief curator of drawings at MoMA; and Neville Wakefield, P.S. 1’s senior curatorial advisor.
